Entity Record Groups

Entity Record Groups allow you to filter entities based on what they have in common.

Entity Record Groups Overview

Entity Record Groups can be created with 12 different filter types. 

Find Entity Record Groups

If an Entity Record Group has previously been created, you can find it using these steps. 

  1. Select Data.
  2. Select Custom Objects.
  3. Click the Custom Object to find the group for.

  1. Next to All Records, click on the V icon.
  2. Select the Entity Record Group you would like to view.

  Hint

Start typing the name of the Entity Record Group to quickly find it.

Create an Entity Record Group

  1. Select Data.
  2. Select Custom Objects.
  3. Click the Custom Object to find the group for.

  1. Next to All Records, click on the   icon.
  2. Type Group Name.
  3. Choose Filter.

  1. Complete next steps based on the Entity Record Group you are trying to create
      • Complete filter fields.
      • Select Choose Filter to add another filter to your Entity Record Group criteria.
      • Select Apply Filter to view the records that meet this criteria.
      • Select Save Group to reference this Entity Record Group in future searches.

  Hint

If you have multiple filters setup, use the Any and All buttons. These allow you to control what criteria the records need to meet, to be included in the Entity Record Group.

  • Any - The record must meet at least one of the filters to be included in the Entity Record Group.
  • All  - The record must meet all of the filters to the included in the Entity Record Group.

Delete an Entity Record Group

  1. Select Data.
  2. Select Custom Objects.
  3. Click the Custom Object to find the group for.

  1. Next to All Records, click on the V icon.
  2. Select the Entity Record Group you would like to delete.

  1. Click Delete Group.
