Add a Custom Field
If you are adding a Custom Field to the Contact or Companies Record, follow the steps below. If you are adding a Custom Field to any other Custom Object, please setup the Custom Object first. More information on Standard Custom Objects and Workflow/Pipeline Custom Objects are in these articles.
- Click Settings from the top menu bar.
- Click Customize Fields.
- Navigate to the Custom Object you would like to relate the Custom Field to.
- Find the appropriate category, click Add New Field.
- Enter the Field Name.
- Choose the Field Type.
- Note: Base on the chosen field type, additional settings may need to be configured in the pop-up.
- Click Save.
