Automation Action: Modify Related Automations

Modify a related automation via the Automation engine by selecting a related object and entity to modify, then selecting an automation to action upon.

Start an Automation on a Related Object

1. Add an Automation
2. Click on + icon
3. Click on Add Action
4. Click Modify Related Automations
5. Select the dropdown to select a Related Object
6. Select the Related Object to start an automation for
   • Note: Only custom objects that are related to the object of the current automation will be available to select
7. Select the Related Entity to trigger the new automation on
8. Select an Action for the new automation - Start, Pause, or Cancel
9. Select the automation to Start, Pause, or Cancel
10. Optional: If Starting a new automation, select if paused automations should be restarted
    • Note: Records with the existing paused automation will be restarted instead of starting a new automation at step 1.
11. Click Save
