Delays are steps in an Automation that allow you to control when the next step occurs.
Delays Overview
The following Delays are available to add to your Automations:
- Minutes
- Hours
- Days
An example of when you might use a delay in an automation is sending a follow up email 24 hours after a contact opens an email.
Add a Delay
- Click Automations from top menu bar.
- Click New Automation or Search for the automation you would like to edit.
- Click the + and Add Delay, or drag and drop Delay onto your automation.
- Enter the Total Delay Time and select Days, Minutes, or Hours.
- Click Save.
