Sales Pipeline Groups

A Group allows you to filter records based on what they have in common.

Sales Pipeline Groups Overview

Entity Record Groups can be created with 12 different filter types. 

A common group is deals that have not had a team member interact with them in X days. This filter and the settings are often:

Sales Leaders setup these groups to monitor deals that have gone stale, need additional updates from a rep, or need additional discussion during one-on-one meetings. 

Find a Sales Pipeline Group

If an Entity Record Group has previously been created, you can find it using these steps. 

  1. Select Data.
  2. Select Custom Objects.
  3. Click the Custom Object to find the group for.

  1. Next to All Records, click on the V icon.
  2. Select the Sales Pipeline Group you would like to view.

  Hint: Start typing the name of the Sales Pipeline Group to quickly find it.

Create a Sales Pipeline Group

  1. Select Data.
  2. Select Custom Objects.
  3. Click the Custom Object to create the group for.

  1. Next to All Records, click on the V icon.
  2. Type Group Name.
  3. Choose Filter.

  1. Complete next steps based on the Sales Pipeline Group you are trying to create
      • Complete filter fields.
      • Select Choose Filter to add another filter to your Sales Pipeline Group criteria.
      • Select Apply Filter to view the records that meet this criteria.
      • Select Save Group to reference this Sales Pipeline Group in future searches.

 Hint: If you have multiple filters setup, use the Any and All buttons. These allow you to control what criteria the records need to meet, to be included in the Sales Pipeline Group.

  • Any - The record must meet at least one of the filters to be included in the Sales Pipeline Group.
  • All  - The record must meet all of the filters to the included in the Sales Pipeline Group.

Delete a Sales Pipeline Group

  1. Select Data.
  2. Select Custom Objects.
  3. Click the Custom Object to find the group for.

  1. Next to All Records, click on the V icon.
  2. Select the Sales Pipeline Group you would like to delete.

  1. Click Delete Group.
