Schedule a Sales Activity

Scheduling an activity allows you to update the date of an activity to be in the past or in the future. For future activities, notifications can be send via email or text. 

Activities can be scheduled through the below methods:

  • Schedule an Activity from the Activity Dashboard.
  • Schedule an Activity from a Contact Record.
  • Schedule an Activity through an Automation. 

Schedule an Activity from the Activity Dashboard

  1. Select Dashboard from the top menu bar. 
  2. Locate the Scheduled Activities dashlet. 
  3. Select +Add Activity.

  1. Select the Associations for the activity.
    • Activities can be associated with Contacts, Companies, or Custom Objects.
  2. Select the Settings for the activity.
    • Settings include: Activity, Team Member to assign the activity to, Due Date, and Due Time. 
  3. Optional: Add any applicable notifications. 
  4. Click Schedule.

Schedule an Activity from a Contact Record

  1. Select Data from the top menu bar.
  2. Click Contacts.
  3. Search for the contact.
  4. Click on the Contact Name.

  1. From the action block, select Schedule Activity.

  1. Select the Associations for the activity.
    1. Activities can be associated with Contacts, Companies, or Custom Objects.
  2. Select the Settings for the activity.
    1. Settings include: Activity, Team Member to assign the activity to, Due Date, and Due Time. 
  3. Optional: Add any applicable notifications. 
  4. Click Schedule.
