Edit Companies

Companies are the businesses you interact with. Companies can be associated with Contacts as well as other Custom Objects. 

 

Companies can be edited in three ways:

  1. Manually Edit a Company
  2. Quick Edit a Company
  3. Change a Field for Multiple Companies at Once

Manually Edit a Company 

  1. Select Data from the top menu bar
  2. Click Custom Objects
  3. Click Companies mceclip0.png
  4. Search for the company
  5. Click on the Company Name mceclip0.png
  6. Edit the necessary information in the Information Block
  7. Click Save mceclip1.png

Quick Edit a Company

  1. Select Data from the top menu bar
  2. Click Custom Objects
  3. Click Companies mceclip0.png
  4. Search for the company
  5. Update the necessary information on the All Companies page
  6. Click the ✓ to save each data point mceclip2.png

Change a Field for Multiple Contacts at Once

  1. Select Data from the top menu bar
  2. Click Custom Objects
  3. Click Companies mceclip0.png
  4. Select the V icon next to All Companies and choose the Company Group you would like to Edit
  5. Select the V icon next to Perform Action
  6. Select Change Field Value mceclip4.png
